An initiative by a group of young individuals from Manipur, Burning Voices' primary objective is to bridge the gap between creative instincts and the contemporary lived experience. In the same breath, this initiative also tries to reflect the quintessential spirit of the individual as the creator of arts deeply rooted in the given socio-political realities. In short, Burning Voices mirrors the knotted angst of a generation and their appetite for creativity, often trampled upon and silenced by spiralling political turmoil.
